Leratong Tourism is your ideal adventure getaway destination nestled in between The Kingdom of Lesotho,Golden Gate Highlands National Park and the Northern Drakensberg, when going through Phuthaditjhaba in the direction of Monontsha Border Post we're  based on the foothills of the majestic Maloti-Drakensberg mountains this is in the Eagle Route of the Eastern Free State we are 34 min drive from the basecamp of the Northern Drakensberg leading to Sentinel peak and about 68 min drive from the jewel of the Free State, Clarens  we do village and mountain treks on horseback for experienced and non-experienced riders we have guided mountain hiking trails, a self-catering home and camping facilities to give you that full outdoor village experience with options of seSesotho locally made food and arts and crafts for sale by our villagers

As Leratong Toursim we contribute to making a difference in the lives of the community members we live among, with every great experience we provide per adventure we give to a family and with every creation and product available from our featured locals we give a community member an opportunity to showcase their products and get exposure for better opportunities.

TWO COUNTRIES TOUR

As one of the fewest in South Africa to provide such a great experience on horseback 2000m above sea-level find out why we call it The Two Countries Tour.

PHUTHI RIVER SOURCE TOUR

The over 200km long river over 2000m above sea-level renamed by King Moshoeshoe 1 in the 1800s, find out it's story as we meander beside it between two countries.

FIRST AID

We have first aid personel always on our tours just for controll

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

Emergency medical services are ready for you they have your gps  coordinates on our trails and an ambulance on standby to be at the nearest road at any of our trails.

SECURITY

We're neighbours with members of the SA National Defence Force covering our territory doing their work along the international border however we have security personnel with us, you're protected.
